Water is a key element of St. Petersburg context. The city insular formation, horizontal spread of its ensembles along the river banks; the metaphysics of floods create a very special mode of living. Considering the peculiarities of the city space, we reflect on the ways of living close to water and in environmental contact with it.
The project was exhibited at the I Moscow Architecture Biennale (2008) as a part of The Ways of Living curator exhibition.
